Dear Angus Firth Design,

On behalf of the staff and pupils of the Willows School I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for the works conducted at the school. The preexisting structure was in desperate need of redevelopment, since it had been in place for over 10 years!

We contacted Angus Firth in the hope that they would provide some fresh ideas for our worn and tattered play area! Coming from an EBD primary school our pupils have emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. The soft play area has always been used as a source of rewarding behaviour for our pupils. However the children have also found soft play to provide a safe environment for expressing highly emotive behaviour.

The design amazed staff and the student council body, considering the masterful use of space, and the extent of equipment included. In addition the interactive IRIS system interested all pupils, and the demonstration for our school council was thoroughly enjoyed.

Throughout the process we received an excellent service, with our needs always put first and completely met. When needs changed and slight modifications were required this was done efficiently and effectively without quibble.

We enjoyed a super-fast installation period that even occurred during school time. This caused minimal disruption to the school day, with the installation team passionately working endless hours to get the product finished before Easter bank holiday. We felt it was necessary for the children to see the changes in order to aid successful adaptation for our more autistic pupils. The team understood and was more than happy to follow this protocol.

When reopened the pupils (and staff!!) were eager to investigate the new soft play area. There is much consensus that the new play area is better than most could have originally imagined. We are truly grateful for all the hard work from the Angus Firth Team from Tracy Mitchell liaising with the school admin team, to the design team, and to Ian and the installation guys.

In all opportunities we will be recommending Angus Firth to any company that require play area development.
